Sassarini students love Accelerated Reader! AR is a computer based reading comprehension program. Students read books from our school library and then take a quiz. If they pass with 60% or more questions correct, they earn AR points. The harder or longer the book, the more points one earns. Student compete with themselves to earn points. We award incentives to help students set higher and higher reading goals. Our school goal is for every student to participate in AR! More than half the school is currently taking AR quizzes and reading AR books.
